“Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 (CEB)
Dear FPC Church Family,
This letter is coming to you with great joy and exciting news. We are quickly approaching our Stewardship Campaign for 2021.
Stewardship is utilizing and managing ALL resources God has provided, for the Glory of God.
This year’s theme is “Opening Doors”. As we use our theme “Opening Doors” let us reimagine Church beyond our walls. Let us imagine our doors open to our Community and how we can minister to one another. Included below you will find:
1. Spiritual Gifts Assessment Exercise This will help you discern your gifts of ministry as you prayerfully consider how to give to God’s Church both monetarily and spiritually.
2. Time and Talent Interest Form This is a snapshot of the needs of our church and community. In what ways do the gifts you share meet the needs of the various ways to be church at FPC.
3. Commitment Card Please fill out your commitment card with your pledge for 2021. Return it on or before November 8th, Commitment Sunday.
4. Door Hanger of Church Doors Open We would love a picture of your front door! Take a photo and send it toNeeley by October 28th.
On Sunday November 8th we will celebrate commitment Sunday. Please prayerfully consider how WE, while “Opening Doors”, can share all that God has blessed us with during these unprecedented times. Church family, think about all the doors we can open as we give through our Time, Talents and Treasures. Please use this doorknob hanger as a reminder that Everyone Is “Loved, Valued and Welcome” through our doors.
“Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They should not give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
Faithfully, Darcel K. Tabb and Dana Hall, Stewardship Co-Chairs
